Message	alot depends on the state, county you reside in. also on the technician and shop you go too. most shops (here in slo county will do a complete visual first.) no cats? down pipes? no test. alot of "stings" and no one wants to loose their certification for a 50.00 smog. much of the time, its the visual inspection that causes the difficulty.
